How to Use

For naturally soft laundry and faster drying time, every time: 

Step 1. Toss your Natural Wool Dryer Balls into your dryer. 

Step 2. Add your wet laundry and start your dryer. 

Step 3. Remove your laundry — just leave those Natural Wool Dryer Balls in the dryer for your next load!

How many Wool Dryer Balls do you need? 

3-6 Wool Dryer Balls for a regular load of laundry

6-9 Wool Dryer Balls for larger loads, towels, or sheets

We always recommend keeping a few extra Wool Dryer Balls on hand for when your dog runs off with one thinking it’s their favorite chew toy! 

PRO TIP: Dirty dryer ball? No problem! Place the dirty wool balls into our Mesh Laundry Bag or pillowcase and launder on a warm, delicate cycle. Then, put the balls in a sunny window until completely dried before returning to the dryer.

Your Wool Dryer Balls are going to last you for years, so it’s easy to get the most out of them. Here are some expert tips on more ways to use your natural Wool Dryer Balls.

Lightly Scent Your Laundry: Add 8-10 drops of your favorite essential oils directly onto the wool balls. Give them a few moments to fully absorb the oils, then toss them into the dryer with your wet laundry. The essential oils will infuse your laundry with a light aroma. Our favorites include peppermint, lemon, and lavender essential oils!

Break Static Bonds: Lightly dampen your natural wool dryer balls and pop them into the dryer for the last few minutes of the dry cycle. This helps break static bonds. 

Drying Extra Bulky Loads: If you’re drying a comforter, blanket, sleeping bag, or other bulky items, your wool dryer balls are going to be a huge help. For such items, we suggest adding six wool dryer balls if you have them. They’ll help the laundry tumble freely instead of getting twisted and stuck.
